Karl Lillrud. Best-selling Author and Entrepreneur.
Karl is an e-commerce expert who has been honoured as one of the world’s top 50 e-commerce experts and has helped over 1,000 e-commerce stores increase their conversion and market growth. With a burning interest in the growth of global e-commerce and retail, Karl began studying customer behaviour and customer psychology to have a deeper understanding of the difference between a customer and a window shopper. Karl started his first business at age 16, today 25 years later he has helped organizations like H&M, Spotify business, AstraZeneca, 3, Tele2, TUI and many more to scale up their business, solve bottle necks and build both internal and external success factors.
Prof. Ciaran Martin. Founding CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre and Professor, University of Oxford.
Having founded the world leading National Cyber Security Centre in the UK, Ciaran is currently Professor of Practice in the Management of Public Organisations at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government, advising NATO and several private sector organisations on cyber security strategies. Under Martin’s leadership, the NCSC took the lead in managing more than 2,000 nationally significant cyber-attacks against the UK. He led the detection work that prompted the Government to call out, for the first time, cyber aggression from Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. Holding senior positions at HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office and GCHQ, Martin was head of the Cabinet Secretary’s Office leading the official negotiations that led to the agreed terms and rules for the Scottish independence referendum. In 2020, Ciaran Martin was appointed CB by Her Majesty The Queen and has received a range of awards domestically and internationally in recognition of his cyber security work.
Dr. Susan Vroman. Expert in Flexible Working and Lecturer of management at Bentley University.
In her role at Bentley University, Susan’s research interests include the impact leadership enactment has on organisational culture and employee engagement, with specific focus on supporting flexible work arrangements. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Vroman worked for over 20 years as an organisational effectiveness and strategic human resource management executive and advisor. Her consulting niche is in entrepreneurial businesses that are “coming of age” and where the people business was recently invited to the table. Susan holds her undergraduate degree in Communication and Human Resource Development from James Madison University, a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from Harvard University, and her doctorate degree in Organisational Leadership Studies from Northeastern University.
