Marketing Institute Ireland is hosting an open lecture ‘Insight-led, Data-driven Social Media Strategies’ on July 20th as part of its MSc Digital Marketing & Analytics , in partnership with TU Dublin.
12-1pm 20th July 2021.
Insight-led, Data-driven Social Media Strategies
Amy Tumelty, TWBA & MII // TU Dublin lecturer will speak about Insight-led, data-driven social media strategies.
So often, brands are stuck in the dark ages thinking that the more content they post the higher their brand awareness will climb. The outcome? Content without a purpose that only serves to create a fatigued and un-interested audience. In order to foster an engaged audience and encourage people to stop scrolling and interact with content, marketers must rely on insights and data to guide their decisions. This session will discuss the importance of using consumer insights and past campaign data to build a comprehensive social media strategy that will help brands to reach their KPIs.
Amy Tumelty is the Social Media & Content Manager at TBWA\Dublin, a world-class creative agency that just happens to be based in Dublin. Amy’s experience in building social media strategies and creating content spans across multiple industries and award-winning brands such as the National Transport Authority & Transport for Ireland, SuperValu, BMW, Laya Healthcare & Jameson International Graduate Programme.
Amy joined the Mii lecturing team on the MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics, a transformative partnership with TU Dublin that teaches students about the power of analytics in the digital marketing sphere. Designed for mid-to-senior-level marketing professionals, our MSc equips students with the tools to turn insights into action and make incisive decisions to accelerate both business growth and personal development.
Amy is also a member of the IAPI Futurheads Council, a representative group of people dedicated to developing young creative talent in the Irish advertising industry.
