Local Enterprise Office Dublin City is running a Learn about Tax and Vat workshop on Thursday 14th July 2022.
Participants will gain a working knowledge of Taxation issues and the ways in which to manage accounts and prepare tax accounts. They will be shown the correct assessment forms required by the Revenue and be guided through their completion.
Objectives of the Learn about Tax and Vat workshop
- Review premises requirements and legal obligations
- Be introduced to the concept of business taxation and the correct method of accounting of same
- Understand Business Taxation i.e. Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax, Self-Assessment, Deferred Tax, Thresholds and Exemptions
- VAT: Registration; income threshold; rates and completion and reconciliation
The Local Enterprise Offices are the local first-stop shop for new entrepreneurs and existing micro-enterprise and small business owners. The LEOs are the front door through which all information on State supports for small and micro-businesses can be accessed and signposted to other supports and bodies with programmes relevant to small business as well as important local services and compliance requirements can be provided.
